*Why Eastside Golf’s ongoing Nike partnership matters more than any single release.*

The shoes get the attention. The formula behind them tells the bigger story.

With its new Zero Gravity collection, Eastside Golf has returned to a familiar pairing: one silhouette pulled from sneaker culture, another built for competitive golf.

This time, it’s the Nike Air Max 90 G and the NEXT% Tour 3\. Both wear predominantly black uppers, metallic details, and design cues inspired by space. The Air Max brings the heritage. The NEXT% brings the performance.

Together, they make a point Eastside Golf has been developing for years: golf doesn’t have to choose between culture and competition.

## A release becomes a ritual

In 2024, Eastside’s Nike collaboration paired the Air Max 1 Golf with the Zoom Victory Tour 3\. In 2025, the combination returned with the Air Max Plus Golf and Victory Tour 4\. Now comes Zero Gravity.

Three collaborations. Three different footwear pairings. One recognizable approach.

That’s significant because a collaboration becomes more valuable when consumers start anticipating its return. A limited release creates attention. A recurring release builds a following.

Eastside appears to understand the distinction.

## Two shoes, two expressions

The Air Max 90 G is an everyday icon adapted for golf. Its molded traction and waterproof construction make it functional for the course without abandoning the silhouette that made it recognizable.

The NEXT% Tour 3 takes a different approach. Its Air Zoom technology and integrated spike pattern are designed around the demands of a competitive round.

The two shoes are listed by Eastside Golf at [$170](https://eastsidegolf.com/products/nike-air-max-90-g-x-eastside-golf?ref=parandsole.com) and [$200](https://eastsidegolf.com/collections/golf-shoes/products/nike-next-tour-3-x-eastside-golf?ref=parandsole.com), respectively.

Neither is necessarily the right choice for every golfer. That’s precisely the point.

Some people arrive at golf through competition. Others arrive through fashion, friendship, or a connection to something familiar. Eastside’s collections make room for both.

## Culture is the competitive advantage

Golf footwear has evolved rapidly. Heritage sneakers now appear on fairways, while performance-oriented brands increasingly acknowledge the importance of personal expression.

The market is becoming crowded. In that environment, distinctive colorways alone won’t sustain a brand’s relevance.

What Eastside Golf brings is a consistent cultural perspective. The company has spent years challenging narrow expectations about who participates in golf and how they should look while doing it.

Its Nike partnership gives that perspective a recognizable product platform.

And that may be the real formula. Not simply translating sneakers into golf shoes. Making golf feel like a natural extension of the culture people already belong to.
